the other night miss rachel heard i wasn't feeling well and brought me some chamomile tea and gummy worms...
what kind of a combination is that?
a perfect one.
well, i'm feeling better & now that our update is up i am spending a couple days working on new designs and catching up (finally gonna make some tattoo designs. yay!). i'm actually wanting to get started on my tattoos again too... maybe this month?
here are a few pretties for your eyes today:
a pretty new print we have.
this crazy adorable dinosaur applique! i love her so much.
and this closet is SO beautiful. oh my goodness. in love.
tonight i am stitching a new vintage purse (for myself) that sort of resembles this bag i stitched last year...
it's Orla inspired.... this time i am stitching with yarn. i loved that bag SO much, but the strap broke (like 3 times) so i'm making a new one. :) feeling happy to do something of the 'just for fun' variety this evening! i need these kinds of projects to keep the hobby aspect of my work alive... it's so important!
Oh... and if you haven't done this yet: madmenyourself.com
it's quite fun. :D
i made myself smoking AND drinking coffee! ha!
(no, i don't really smoke... i just think i am hilarious.)
i made jeremy one too!
well, i'm off to make toast and stitch for fun.... LOVELOVE. elsie

I wanna see your bag when your done! Your other is super cute!

i had some yellow sunglasses like yours in your purse picture but they had a white and black checkered pattern on the side. reminded me of a taxi cab.

Wow Elsie you sound like you're having an awesome day, me too. Looking at your purse picture is inspiring me to get the ole crochetting needle out and finish a scarf or two I never did. Just in time for fall (well..here it is!!)
Have a good one girl!

This was a beautiful blog!:) whats your favorite cookie?

you could use the hardware off that bag to make a new strap for it using vintage scraps. i do that when i buy those premade canvas shopping bags because i tend to like long handles: http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3482/3213012824_345eb7fceb.jpg
i just cut the old straps off at the thread line on both sides and it usually comes off clean. then I apply my own handles to the side.

I agree with misschell above =D
I love the daily inspiration/eye candy. When I'm stuck at work, bored/depressed with the everyday life all I have to do is get on your blog & it uplifts my day. =D
Thanks for sharing all your cool thoughts and ideas. Cheers! I also wanted to ask you what kind of paint do you like to use??
