i'm feeling the 'home decorating bug' again, so i'm planning a long weekend of adding cute photo displays and art to my walls. nothing makes me more happy than a few fun projects on my horizon! here are just a few photo display ideas that are inspiring me... enjoy!
XO. elsie
ps. i'm taking questions for future blog posts in the post/comments below. don't be shy. :)
OH... and check out my current sponsors one last time, new buttons going up tonight!

I love these photos. I have the bug too Elsie. 24/7. I wish I could sit still. :)
People do amazing things with photographs. I am so boring. Always sticking them in frames. I should think outside the box.
I would love a post about your wardrobe. I love how you put your outfits together and if you were giving advice to someone who wanted to change their style, what basics would you start with?
love

I'm relatively new to your blog and I'm LOVING it!
I'm curious...what type of camera do you use to take your photos? The picture quality is phenomenal!!!

Elsie I loooove you :) This is my second question, I read in your twitter that you stay up so late painting and making pretty things!, how do you manage that? I mean do you wake up late next day or is it just easy for you to wake up early after staying up so late?
I used to stay awake till 5 am and then sleep till 10am XD hehe. But now I have a baby and it's impossible to do that without feeling useless next day!
:) much love!!

Do you have times when you need to rest, retreat and be still for a while?

#2 is dreamy indeed! ::SIGH::
I'm curious too... Any tips for taking good self-portraits? I love the ones you post! (well, all of your photos in general) Also, what do you use for drawing your craft kits? And finally, what did you major in? Was it useful for what you're doing now? Heh, I feel so nosy! ;P
Thank you so much! xo!

I'm so inspired by you, and usually baffled by how much you manage to get done! How in the world do you keep yourself going? Where can I get some of that motivation?!
lovin',

Hi Elsie!
I am Brazilian fashion designer and I love your blog. He is really inspiring!
Always with beautiful photos and your art are wonderful.
I wonder if I could use one of your drawings as tattoos.

Good evening Talented lady with an eye for great style!
If you could take an aeroplane anywhere in the World this evening...where would you go...and why?
I stay up late too but it's because I get nothing done with our girls during the day...apart from cleaning and making cakes...because they help me..lol.
I always have a lull around now...10pm, do you have a certain time when you're exhusted and wonder why you're not in bed?

I am wondering how you produce your images that are printed. They look like they are drawn on the computer and digitally colored. Do you use a Bamboo drawing pad? or Adobe? Quite lovely they are.

How do you create a font? If that is too big of a secret to give away . . . how much doodling do you do before you've decided on a font you'd like to call your own?
PS Do you find it difficult to obtain health insurance as a single independent artist?
Thanks and YOUR STUFF ROCKS

Hi Elsie!
a few questions I thought of:
1. any art or craft that you tried and (gasp) didn't like or weren't very successful at?
2. what do you do when you feel like you have no ideas in you?
3. do you follow astrology?

Carol,
That camera art is not mine. That pouch is made with vintage Paul Frank fabric. I think it would make an adorable tattoo too!!! :) XO. e
