my other favorite illustrators are Leo Lionni, Beatrix Potter, and E.H. Shephard. I really love the more traditional styles of those last two, and i love Leo Lionni's whimsical collage-type illustrations.

Mary Blair is a genius....esp as a woman in such a male dominated industry at that time!

I saw some of Mary Blair's Cinderella pictures in a Disney archive exhibition. They were my favourites in the whole show - so amazing!
