Currently, we are starting the process of creating our own 'dream studio' in the back rooms of Red Velvet land. A magical place to sew, paint and create with racks of clothing and pretty supplies everywhere.
I have a vision of covering an entire wall with children's drawings of and about the Red Velvet shop (the above artwork is by Hope). If you have a little artist in your family, we'd love to see their work in our mailbox. Just have them draw something related to Red Velvet (fashion, cupcakes, craft, vintage etc...) and send it to our store!
Red Velvet 211 E. Commercial Springfield, Mo. 65803
I'm so excited about this fun little project! We'll be sure to post lots of photos after our wall is completed. PS. be sure each piece is signed by the little artist! ;)
Designing my new dream studio is the last of my 4 Simple Goals before the new year! How are you doing with your goals? Xo. elsie

Awww, how sweet! I love the simplicity and bright colors kids aren't afraid to use in their art. I can't wait to see your collection of little masterpieces!

I haven't met my goals this year :(
I wanted to start my own online biz, but I haven't found the time or inspiration (for a name). It's quite frustrating.
Reading your blog gives me some motivation though! I love how the store looks :)
