Love bows? We do too! Learn to make a pretty bow with your own hair so you can feel extra fancy. Enjoy.....
1. Start with a loose pony tail. 2-3. Take the rubber band (or pony tail holder) and pull the hair through half-way. 4. Flip the tail to the other side and repeat, leaving a small tail remaining. 5. Take the tail, fold over the middle, and pin in place. From underneath pin both sides of the "bow" in place. Tug on the loops until you have a perfect, messy bow!
Here's a second option. Try a mini bow with a half pony tail! So cute and casual too.
Thanks so much Katie! This post makes me smile, big time. Let's all wear hair bows tomorrow, ok?

Awe! I have short hair that's maybe 2 inches under my chin and I can make the mini bow in the back! I miss my long hair because I'm use to "putting it up" and with my short hair I 'felt' like I had only two options, a bob pony tail or straightening it and wearing it down. NOW! :) I have a third option, a cute little mini bow! :) Thanks for sharing!!!
P.S. It is to short to bring the ends over the middle of the bow and pin it down but it just so happens to look like little bow tails.

My friend and I tried this awhile back, but our strategy wasn't quite so organized as yours. We'll have to try it again! It's such a cute style :)
