I am so in love with this restyled sweatshirt. When Amanda sent it my way I think I gasped aload! It's so beautiful, simple and cozy. Who doesn't want to look pretty in something so comfy! Here's how you can make your own...
Step 1. Cut the neckline off your sweatshirt for an off-the-shoulder look, then arrange the doilies along the neckline.
Step 4. After cutting the excess from the doilies on the neckline, pin and sew the bias tape. This will prevent the doilies from unraveling.
Step 5. Add a little decorative trim if you like! Most craft stores sell pretty lace and crochet varieties.
Your sweater can be washed on gentle cycle and either hung to dry or dried with low heat. A simple and pretty way to stay warm in the upcoming winter months!
Thanks so much, Amanda, for sharing this beautiful idea! I can see a hoodie version of this project in my near future! xo. elsie

Oh, I just love this idea! I was at a garage sale this summer that had a bunch of those doilies... I should have snatched them up! I'll have to scrounge my local thrift stores. Can't wait to try this craft this weekend!

I love this! I was actually looking for something like this to wear to my birthday dinner, but couldn't find anything I really liked. I might have to just do it myself! Thanks!
