I'm so excited to share this D.I.Y. with you today! If you love the look of geometric bracelets this season, this one is for you. Emma and I have a deep love for our local leather store and as a result, have a giant stash of leather scraps. This project is fun to create and a great gift idea!
1-2. Cut strips of leather that are 1-2 inches longer than your wrist size. Mine were about 1.5 inches wide. You can also use high quality faux leather or vinyl for a vegan option. 3. Paint geometric designs. Have fun experimenting! This was my favorite step and I can't wait to paint more. I used this Martha Stewart Paint
. It works for many surfaces and is great with leather. It's my new favorite craft paint. 4. Finish off your designs with a second coat of paint and allow to dry.
Here's what you need to attach a snap to your bracelet. You'll need snap hardware
(can find this in any craft store in the sewing section), a hammer, and a hole punch tool
.
5. Put the snap on one side and then use it to measure where you want to punch the hole for your second snap. Follow the instructions on the snap hardware package to attach your snaps. It's super easy once you get the hang of it!
This is Emma's pretty creation. She used some glitter paint on hers.
These bracelets make great gifts. They are fun to personalize and make with pals. Have fun creating your own special combination! xo. elsie

Freakin' love it!

Oh my. I love these leather bracelets.
We have about a billion leather scraps right here in the living room. The mister and I have been making tons of little baby moccasins and have lots of leather leftover.
Thanks for the DIY!

These are great! So pretty, but with a hint of ruggedness. Love that it looks easy, too. I'm all about the easpy-peasy projects.
