Last year I designed this chevron holga camera for my shop! It was tons of fun and since we no longer produce them for the shop I thought I'd teach you how to make your very own. Holga cameras are classic toy cameras that take charming, unpredictable and imperfect photos. They are inexpensive and famous for beautiful "light leaks" that make photos special. They're one of my favorite toy cameras! Enjoy...
I painted a bunch of Holga cameras for my wedding. I used these same supplies and method and added some handpainted details too! I hope you have fun painting your very own Holga camera! It's fun having a one-of-a-kind camera. XO. elsie

So much fun! Great idea.

I love that you added the little birds too, great touch! I'm not sure I'd be brave enough to paint any of my cameras lol.
Have you seen the new Lomo Sardina range? I think you'd love it!

Ohh, this truly looks wonderful! I've recently gotten into film - and use a Holga too! They are so pretty, and I'm trying to not use up my film too quickly - though it sure is tempting!

Re-fashioning a camera is such a good idea... Gotta try it one day and give one of my cameras more fancy and outstanding look. Thanks a lot for inspiration!

Bonjour!
I do love this post! Actually I'm so fan of all your blog.
Me too I'm trying to customize my camera (Diana F+). For now I'm just using cute roller tapes. I like so much the little bird on the Holga.
By the way I'm a really new blogger, and I recently read your advices about having a blog. I think I'll use the "10 things I like..."
Thank you so much for your blog, it's full a creativity. I enjoy it a lot.
Have a nice weekend, bisous from France xx
