Making your own salad dressings at home is one of those skills that's super easy and delicious. This time of year is an excellent time to start eating more greens in your diet, so here's three easy salad dressing recipes to help spruce up your veggies. We're going to make: homemade ranch dressing, cilantro lime vinaigrette, and our own homemade honey mustard dressing. Keep in mind that you can add any herbs or spices you prefer.
Needed: 3/4 cup mayo, 3/4 cup greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon olive oil, 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 cup buttermilk, a handful of chopped green onions or chives, 1 tablespoon minced garlic, salt and pepper to taste.
Mix all ingredients together and drizzle on your favorite salad. Store in a sealable jar or other container and keep in your refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Needed: 6 ounces olive oil, 3-4 tablespoons chopped cilantro, juice from 1 lime
Mix all ingredients together and drizzle on your favorite salad. Store in a sealable jar or other container and keep in your refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Needed: 3/4 cup honey, 1/2 cup dijon mustard, 2 tablespoon white wine vinegar
Mix all ingredients together and drizzle on your favorite salad. Store in a sealable jar or other container and keep in your refrigerator for up to two weeks.
Have fun making you own fresh batch of salad dressings! XO. Emma + Elsie

Yum! I am going to have to try this out, I make my own ranch because I don't like store bought but I've usually stuck to buying other dressings I know I like. I love the cilantro idea! I'm trying that for dinner! Thanks for the great ideas!

I'm one of those people who can't stand Cilantro (corriander)......it makes me die a little inside. But I love honey and mustard vinegrette so I'm definetly gonna try that one out.

Delicious! I love homemade caesar - garlic, worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, coddled egg, freshly ground pepper.

I always make my own salad dressings. They are easier than you think. I mix up the ingredients in a mason jar. So much better for you than the store bought kind! Can't wait to try these recipes. Thanks!

Oh, the honey mustard looks delicious. Can't believe I haven't thought to try that one yet!
I make my own raspberry vinaigrette, which is SUPER simple and makes any salad divine. If you want the recipe, I posted it on my blog:

The first photo has a typo in cilantro :/ Not sure if that's fixable but I wanted to point it out in case you didn't already know!
Cheers!

Cilantro lime, get in my belly! I usually make my own dressings --- my go-to is balsamic vinegar, a decent olive oil, a little finely-chopped garlic, a sprinkle of pepper and a squirt of honey. Delish!
