We know we are well into the new year now, but as we look at these pictures we can't help but reminisce about my New Year's Eve. We spent it together with a few of our closest friends. Yes, of course we spent it together! You might think that because we work together we don't spend our time off together too, but we usually do.
2011 was the best of year of our lives to date because we spent the majority of it together, building our dream. We're really excited to do it all again in 2012! Cheers to a new year full of color, to-do lists and many many hours spent doing what you love! We'll be here to encourage + inspire you along the way!
Elsie: I love bold colors that act like neutrals in the right situation. They are usually colors found in nature like red, pea green, coral, mustard and seafoam green. I think that color is my favorite part of fashion, followed closely by fabric choice which is another magical world completely! The best part about this outfit is that it makes me want to make a painting.
Emma: I loved wearing this dress! It has such a beautiful vintage floral pattern. I added the scarf and clutch to make it a little more laid-back and cozy. Stripes mixed with floral is always fun.
Outfit Details: Elsie- Dress c/o Threadsence, Top/J.Crew, Necklace c/o Shlomit Ofir, Satchel c/o ModCloth, Belt/Vintage, Shoes c/o Ruche. Emma- Dress/Vintage, Clutch c/o American Apparel, Scarf/Target, Shoes c/o Ruche. ♥

You two are the best.

I love how you both mix the colors and patterns so well. I'm trying to do more of that this year. I've always been so stuck on black and gray, I'm trying to branch out, thanks for the inspiration!

Emma, I'm loving the pops of color! Oddly enough, purple and turquoise usually end up being neutrals for me. Haha, oh dear.

I love how you guys have quite a similar style without looking 'matching'. My sister turns her nose up at most of the things I wear!

You both have such a great sense of personal style. It's so sweet that you're so close. Makes me really wish I had a sister. :)
