The Colorful Life...

Try as I may to resist it, I L O V E wearing color. I just can't help myself! Take a peek into my closet and you'll see that I have a crazy obsession with each and every color in the rainbow. I love the look of neutral, practical, mix + match outfits... but why is it so hard for me to wear them? I don't know, but maybe you'll be seeing me soon in a support group for people who love color too much. xo. elsie

you look great in bright colours! i on the other hand, tend to wear way too much black and grey, and have a hard time adding colour in.

I find that when I wear color that I usually steer away from, sometime I have the most wonderful unexpected results!

Me too :) My mother in law said "lindsay wears a lot of color + it doesn't match." haha. Someone recently asked me if I thought I matched. I don't belive in matchy, matchy! I love color too :) If they are my favorite colors then i believe they go together :D Happy New Year! ♥

I guess I am a bit of a color addict, too. I never really thought about until receiving several color comments on my 2011 wardrobe in review post. Apparently there is not a lot of neutral in my closet. I think I would like to keep it that way. Color is such a driving force in my life. I need it. It inspires me and makes me happy. I say you keep on rockin' the color girl! We need to start a support group for those who don't wear color!

I use to only wear gray and black - then I had a roommate who had a closet full of color! She let me borrow several fun pieces and honestly wearing color changed my outlook on the day. I think adding color to one's wardrobe should be on more New Year's Resolutions!! PS. Love the shoes :)
