I recently picked up a big order of film from the past few years. It's fun how exciting it can be to look at photos that have been forgotten about on old rolls of film! These shots are from my Holga camera on our honeymoon in Austin last spring. Holga photos are highly unpredictable. I remember snapping a few photos that didn't turn out and these photos I don't even remember taking... haha! I think I will print the first one on a 12x12 canvas for our home. Have you had any film developed lately? xo, elsie

I have several rolls of film from last year that I *still* need to develop! Glad to know I'm not the only one! :D

Love Holgas. I still have to get my Holga pictures from the Grand Canyon developed. Do you have any suggestions of where to send them?

Jennifer, I dropped them off at a local photo shop. A lot of people left suggestions of where to send film here- http://abeautifulmess.typepad.com/my_weblog/2012/04/pass-or-fail-.html hope that helps! XOXO. elsie

I have a bunch of rolls that I never seem to get around to taking in but I really must. Not to be depressing, but one roll is of a visit to my husband's aunt, who has now died. I actually don't have the heart yet to look at the pictures, but one day I will. Undeveloped films are like time capsules right?

We went to Europe in 2009 and my husband still has tons of Holga film to get developed from that trip. I can't wait to see them someday.

I have a vintage film camera that I just need to buy film for! I've been hunting for some for a while now! Do you have a place where you buy film at a reasonable price? :)

I love these! There are so many little treasures you get with Holgas! Completely unexpected jewels! Can't wait to see what you do with the first print Elsie.

I started taking film photos in 2004 and I don't see myself stopping, I really like the feeling that film photos have.
Those photos you took are pretty rad, hope you share a pic of the canvas too :3

I LOVE that feeling of finding old rolls of film! Who knows what's on there? What adventures? And what you'll discover. :)
I especially like that you posted a picture at the end of the roll. It's kind of sweet. As great as digital photography is, and it's made it so much easier for a lot of us to become better photographers, there is something ...almost romantic, about using film.

the first one is lovely!
my older sister and I recently had a roll developed from our Canon EOS 650 that we shot while at Adelaide Writers' Week and luckily all our photos turned out great (it has a automatic mode, that helps!). :)
