My dog, Love Love, has gotten to be my little dog model twice this past week! First we made him a little food and water bowl, and now: a studded doggie collar. I am in love with studs! So I decided spruce up a plain dog collar, adding a little toughness. Because nothing says tough like a pug.
Here's how to make your own:
1. Supplies needed: plain dog collar, exacto knife, pliers and studs. 2. Use the exacto knife to cut holes for the studs prongs to go into. 3. Insert the stud. 4. Use the pliers to bend the prongs in to secure the stud in place. Repeat for all the studs. Here's another project where we added stud's to denim.
Have fun making your own doggie collar! xo. Emma

I think I know a miniature pinscher who'd look smashing with a spiked collar!

how adorable! The only downside to this DIY is that your dog may end up looking better than its owner!
