I think I've only had fresh cranberry sauce maybe once before. I LOVE cranberries. I went through a big cranberry phase last autumn, so they sort of remind me of this time last year, which was (it turns out) a sort of new chapter in my life. But don't get me started on that! I think the holidays have me overly emotional today. Thinking about everything I have to be thankful for.
Let's focus on the cranberry sauce. Here's something I learned this year: Cranberry sauce is uh-mazing on turkey. I think that's sort of it's purpose. Or at least it is for me now. Plus it take about 3 minutes to make. It's even easier than gravy.
Candied Ginger Cranberry Sauce
1 bag (12 oz.) fresh cranberries
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup triple sec
3-4 pieces candied ginger
1 tablespoon lemon zest
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until you achieved your desired texture. You can leave it more rustic and chunky, or you can pulse into a puree. Choose your own destiny. xo. Emma

I love the color of them, it's so pretty!

Yum! This sounds so much more appealing then jarred varieties. For any vegetarians out there tofu steaks glazed with cranberry sauce and grilled are amazing and a great meat free festive dinner idea! Just FYI ;)

Canned cranberry sauce gives other kinds a bad name, but his looks yummy. I've never tried to make it totally fresh and uncooked before. Maybe I'll give it a try for Christmas. I always make it on the stovetop and mold it in a cute little vintage mold for a bit of retro kitsch. So cute, isn't it? : http://fashionisevolution.blogspot.com/2011/11/holiday-recipe-cranberry-sauce.html

Mmm de-lish, a Sunday chicken/turkey roast here in the UK would not dare to be seen without some cranberry sauce piled on the side. Will definitely be giving this one a whirl, thanks. Happy Thanksgiving to all you good people over the pond.

Never have been a big fan of cranberries, but I'm reconsidering it, I've only tried it out once and that's already a year ago. people change, so perhaps my distaste for cranberries will change as well.. So I will give this recipe a go. I think it would be nice to add it to the menu during the holidays!

I can't thank you enough for all that you have done for me. About a year ago I my partner split up, we had both made BIG mistakes in our relationship. He ended up moving away from me to pursue a new life. I knew in my heart that he would be the only one to make me happy. I was relieved when I found your email on a site about what you have done. I requested 1 to 2 day casting of the reunite us love spell and within 3days mark company had relocated him back to our hometown where I still lived. We immediately reconnected and move in with each other. Our wedding date is set for Summer 2012. Expect to see your invite in the mail!.thanks to upesaspelltemple@yahoo.com
