There are times when all the heavy holiday food can leave you craving something light and fresh. For times like these I present to you... The Citrus Sparkler Cocktail! It's so refreshing.
First, slice lemon and grapefruit pieces.
Fill a glass with ice, lemons and grapefruit pieces. Combine one part Gin, one part sweetened lime juice, a splash of citrus bitters and two parts club soda. Stir and serve!
If you prefer a non-alcoholic version try one part lemonade, one part sweetened lime juice and two parts club soda. :) Enjoy! xoxo. Elsie

Looks very refreshing, great pics!

Would love to try this out, because it sounds super yummy! It's nice to drink something refreshing every now and then instead of only hot coco's and tea.

I love any cocktail that grapefruit is involved in :) If you ever get Rio Star's up in Missouri, try them - they're TX grapefruits and sooooo good.

Hi Elsie, this is totally unrelated but I could not find your email anywhere. I need your insight on a totally different topic that you might be able to talk about on everyday elsie. I am married to a musician myself, just like you are with Mr. Larson and I am having a hard time dealing with the out of town shows. I guess I have trust issues and all that specially that I stay home with the kids and cannot tag along.
How do you deal with that? What does Jeremy do to reassure you when he's away? How do you deal with all the time away from each other plus all dealing with the thoughts of female companions around? or should I say, fans? Please help. Thanks!

Chickything,
I will try to write about this subject on Everyday Elsie sometime.
When Jeremy is away I usually take on extra creative projects and give myself a different nighttime routine to distract from his absence. It is VERY hard no matter what, though, especially for tours longer than 2 weeks. I feel your pain.
XO!

This looks delicious. I might try it for my own little friendsgiving. Also, I just wanted to let you guys know how much I love you're blog. Besides a Beautiful Mess I read a lot of fashion blogs. Those are good for inspiration in their own way, but I always finish by checking your site. Its so bright, happy, and optimistic. Thanks for all the awesome ideas and joy!
