Last week, Mallory and I collaborated on a very special quilt! We spent several days hand printing squares. We used masking tape, Washi tape, soft fabric paint and stamps to print dozens of squares. Each one is different, and we had lots of fun printing them up. It's no secret that I love crafts with paint. It was so relaxing and fun to just chat and print squares together.
Next, the squares were cut into triangles and mixed in with some our our spoonflower collection and a few basic prints from the fabric store, like polka dots and stripes. We kept with a minimal color scheme so that the crazy mix of prints could shine.
Stay tuned for part two. Tomorrow we will share photos of the finished quilt and basic instructions to sew your first triangle quilt! xoxo. Elsie
