As you heard, Elsie and I hosted a Friendsgiving on Sunday. And even though the real Thanksgiving isn't for another week or so, I couldn't help but wake up that day feeling extra thankful. For me thankfulness isn't something I practice often enough. I know this, because—even though I had lots to do that day (so much food to make!)—everything felt easier when I remember all the people and things that I am so thankful for in my life. And it's been such a good week so far because of this!

I am thankful for having a job. Actually, I have two jobs. One I am giving up for the other. To be honest, I am thankful for having a job that I like so much. Of course I want to do something besides retail later on in my life, but I am happy right now. It's rare that people are happy with their job.
