After making a few of these the other day I wondered why we don't make cosmopolitans more? Most cosmos are made from vodka, triple sec, juice and a little lime. What's not to love? This particular recipe highlights pomegranate blueberry juice and a pretty garnish.
Verry Berry Cosmopolitan, makes one
1 ounce vodka
1/2 ounce Chambord liqueur
1/2 ounce Triple Sec
1 1/2 ounces Pomegranate Blueberry juice (or any berry juice you prefer)
1 generous sqeeze of fresh lime juice
Combine all ingredients with ice in a cocktail shaker (or mason jar) and shake it up.Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with a few berries and/or an edible flower. We purchased a package of edible flowers from the herb section at a local grocery store. If you don't purchase your flowers from a grocer be sure to do some research to ensure the safety of your flower choice.
Happy cocktail making! xo. Emma + Elsie

all the good drinks are located on this website. and oh, edible flowers...i once tried to make sugared flowers for my mom's birthday as a surprise when i was about 11. i used marigolds. from a pot in our front yard. that were regularly sprayed with fertilizer. didn't work out so well in the end.
