We're big fans of a Farmers Gastropub in downtown Springfield (right next to our favorite movie theater!). Their concept is all about sustainability and supporting local farmers. Also, their food is amazing. I'm obsessed with the mushy peas. The atmosphere is cozy and warm. Here are a few snapshots from lunch today!
If you find yourself in Springfield, try it. You'll like it—just don't forget the mushy peas. xoxo. Elsie + Emma

We're eating at the Gastropub tomorrow!! I'll have to check out the mushy peas!

That looks like such a cool place, and your pictures are super dreamy. One day when I visit Springfield I'll have to stop there!

I love Farmers Gastropub! Last summer I was planning a weekend getaway for me and my fiancé (we are from Joplin) and I wanted restaurants downtown near our B&B, and I felt like I stumbled across a jewel! I had the risotto ... Divine! Also went to the Fedora Social House for fondue. Great weekend!

Oh my word this place looks too! My friend Anna and I made Leak and Potato soup once. We did it off recipe and to this day I wish we'd written down everything we did. Because it was one of the best soups I've ever had.

We have a farm nearby our house, it's right in the city and they have the best cafe ever, the ice cream is made from their own cow's milk and there are peacocks wandering aorund the tables
