A Summer Shop Display

This month, Kinsey and I have been working on ideas for new displays in our local shop. Above is the first display that we styled. It holds necklaces, hair accessories and sunglasses. 

Now that my wedding season's over, I'm jumping back into Project ReStyle (yay!) Above is the before photo of this wicker piece I picked up at a flea market for under $10. We spray painted it with a mint green color so that the jewelry would stand out more on our display. 

I absolutely love the end result! It's pretty, but still very earthy. It makes me happy each time I walk into the shop! XO, Elsie

New Postcards!

We ordered some new postcards to promote Red Velvet locally in Springfield! We still have stylish girls come in all the time who are just hearing about the shop. If you live in Springfield and want to help us get the word out come in and ask for a stack of postcards to put out and we will give you a free cupcake! Spring Birds Display!

Springtime Terrariums & new displays....

Last week I spent most of my days in the shop moving things around and setting up fresh new displays. We moved our terrarium display over by the bridal dresses and added daisies for Spring! We also set up a new shoe table and this coming week I'm going to work on more walls to match this new wall. It finally feels like springtime around here (well, most days!). I'm enjoying the sun and planning out new outfits, makeup and special dates for Spring! Happy Monday, Elsie
