HiringPosition: Product Manager + Marketing Director

A Beautiful Mess is a tight-knit, small company. We are looking for a full-time shop manager and marketing director who will work to oversee many of our product offerings. This requires a wide range of skills and experience— here's what we are looking for and the type of person we see succeeding in this role. 
 
Responsibilities Include:
 
-Helping to implement, maintain, and oversee our shopping site. No development, but this person will be very involved and will be expected to help make the site the best it can be for our customers.
 
-Monitor shop website ongoing to ensure all product content is displayed accurately and the look and feel of the site is consistent with brand goals. 
 
-Manage the seasonal calendar of production and marketing. This person is in charge of managing our products life cycle from beginning to end. Also includes working alongside the owners to put together a plan, make sure the products are created and released on time, and that all marketing items align with launch dates and sales. 
 
-Maintain consistent flow of communication between the ABM team, product designers, and fulfillment team to ensure quality products that get shipped on time to happy customers. Shop manager will also need to submit bi-weekly progress reports and lead quarterly meetings to keep the entire ABM team informed.
 
-Research and plan marketing strategies including but not limited to: email marketing, online advertising (Facebook, IG, etc.), brand outreach, shop affiliate program implementation, etc. We're looking for a creative and forward thinker who is excited by the challenge of finding ways to better reach customers. Copy writing experience a plus. 
 
-Must be able to think strategically and make decisions based on customer behavior analytics. 
 
-Provide general administrative support as needed. 
 
We are looking for:
 
-Bachelors in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or related field OR 8+ years experience in the industry
-Experience in e-commerce
-Experience in overseeing product line production
-Ability to identify and strategize potential opportunities
-Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
-Ability to self manage and properly prioritize workload
-Results oriented, must be willing to take ownership over their responsibilities
-Gives great attention to details
-Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
-MUST be located in either Springfield, MO or Nashville, TN (we are not currently considering applicants based outside these areas)
