Sister Style: The Blues

Recently I've been putting together my closet. We did a little renovating in there recently (hello, new shelves!), and now I'm putting pieces back in, getting one last chance to purge items. This past year my style changed a lot, and I've been working on rebuilding a wardrobe that's full of clothes I want to wear over and over. And you know what? I noticed something. I LOVE blue and red. Those two colors make up the majority of the colorful clothing in my closet. It was totally unintentional, but those are my colors! What are your go to colors for fashion?

Sister Style: Primary Colors

So, funny story. We took these photos yesterday. It was a tiny bit chilly, but a great day for outdoor photos. This morning we woke up to SNOW. In May. We are... um... not impressed. Next week will be pretty again. Moral of the story? Missouri weather is weird. :)

Sister Style: Lavender & Honeysuckle

We're obsessed with pretty spring colors. Think soft floral colors, fruit inspired palettes or anything named after a cupcake or ice cream. What I love most about spring is how fresh and exciting everything feels. I get so inspired to buy sundresses and plan backyard parties and make up new recipes... it's the best! We had lunch at Tea Bar & Bites on Pickwick street. The soup was insane (roasted red pepper and gouda) and we loved our meringue and coconut cupcakes too. So delicious!

Sister Style: Sunshiny Days

We love this cute yarn installation on Boonville, downtown. This past week has been absolutely beautiful and we're finding ourselves searching for excuses to spend more time outdoors.
