We did it this past week and suddenly our home feels so empty and way less cozy to me. To combat this sad feeling, I like to dive head first into spring cleaning—basically immediately in January! There are SO many spring cleaning tasks, but my absolute favorite is purging and donating. Do one room at a time and really take the time to evaluate each item. Do you use it? Do you love it? It’s such a great feeling to donate anything you’re not using!

So first off- I love all of your kitchen!!! I’m motivated now to tackle that one room at a time suggestion. Starting tomorrow (yes I really will). I didn’t know about those cleaners. I make a lot of my own but would like to try those from Whole Foods. What are your recommendations to keep marble countertops clean and protected? Thanks!
Great list! I tried doing “Fall” cleaning this year and had time and a big list but I only managed to clean the front of my kitchen cabinets and deep cleaned the fridge. It’s SO tempting to hire someone to do a couple of cleans a year but then I feel lazy. 🙂

Love Schmidt’s, I switched to their deodorants after using “clinical-strength” of the major brands for years with meh results and Schmidt’s actually WORKS. My only complaint is that they briefly sold them in bulk at Costco but then STOPPED, boooooo.
